Learn a swing arrangement of "Pennies From Heaven" with a focus on swing comping borrowed from gypsy jazz guitar! This is a versatile swing tune that can be played anywhere from a medium tempo to a bright, swinging groove (once you have the chords under your fingers and your transitions nailed down).
Level: Lower intermediate and up. Confident beginners also welcome. Chord diagrams will be provided on handouts.
Enrolment is limited to 20 students to ensure that I can spend more time providing individual feedback as needed.
Tuning: we will use GCEA tuning - both low G or high G welcome.
This workshop will be delivered online via Zoom.
